Introduction
ADA (Audit Data Assistant) can generate summary statistics for your amount and date columns.
Using the Summary Statistics Dialog
The Summary Statistics dialog lets you select amount columns, date columns, or a combination of both:
Filter Columns. Filtering columns controls the columns displayed in the list box according to the checkbox settings. These boxes are checked by default.
Dates. When the Dates checkbox is checked, date columns will be displayed in the column list.
Amounts. When the Amounts checkbox is checked, amount columns will be displayed in the column list.
Select All. When the Select All checkbox is checked, all columns currently listed in the column box will be selected.
If your data has no date or amount columns, you will see a notification informing you that the data provided lacks these columns. If your data should contain these data types, please use Column Management to verify the column types.
Formats Supported by Summary Statistics
ADA’s Summary Statistics utility allows you to generate statistics for amount and date columns in Parquet data. Parquet is the format ADA uses for storing data files.
